Hello to everyone in Kestrels!
I hope you are all well and that you have enjoyed the glorious weather.
This week I am setting two themes - there isn't a timetable of tasks, I think you can organise your own work schedule.
In maths I would like you to revise Roman Numerals. There is a lesson and homework set on MyMaths, and there are also some worksheets to complete.
You could continue finding out about the Romans and do a mini-topic. The usual sites (BBC Bitesize and DK Findout are excellent). Why not do some work about the army, or perhaps you would prefer to find out what life was like for Roman children, or maybe you could design some Roman mosaics?
The second theme is water safety. We usually have a talk from the RNLI in the summer term. They tell us how we can stay safe in and around water. There are some fabulous resources on the RNLI website and I have put some here as well. I hope you will learn how to keep yourselves, and your families, safe around water.
Of course, I would like you to keep fit and active - are you going for walks, bike rides, or playing in the garden? Perhaps you are lucky enough to have a trampoline, or Swingball or ...?
Have fun and keep learning! Please get in touch with me if there is anything I can help with.
See you soon I hope!
P.S. I nearly forgot to remind you how important it is to keep reading! I am now reading a great book with year 6 called Skellig.
