Meet the Governors
Welcome to our Governors’ section.
School governors volunteer to help to run the school, and they have a wide range of responsibilities. Governors' help to raise standards of pupil achievement and plan the school's future direction with the support of the Headteacher and school staff. Governors' also review the schools policies and ensure that a balanced curriculum is delivered and that this meets statutory requirements. Acting as a link between the local community and the school is an important responsibility for Governors' amongst many other obligations. The Kewstoke Primary School Governing board meets about six times a year.
Volunteering as a governor is a great way to contribute to your local community, meet new people and improve the lives of local children.
